Tugs

Sinbad Marine Services currently have three multipurpose tugs available for hire.  All tugs are approved by the Irish Department of Transport, all have passenger licences and all have full Irish and Domestic Load Line Certificates.

Our multi-purpose tugboats are suitable for coastal towage, berthing assistance, oil spill recovery, fire fighting and dredging assistance.

• NEW M/T “SMS Bison” is a 30m Azimuth Tractor Drive Tug  with an impressive 44 ton bollard pull.  Sinbad Marine Services took delivery of their newest venture in January 2010.
   
• NEW M/T “SMS Shoalbuster”   is a 26m Multi-Purpose Damen 2609 Tug with 32 ton bollard pull.  SMS Shoalbuster was delivered in June 2009.
   
• **FOR SALE**  M/T “Carron” is 28m Multi-Purpose Voith Schneider Tug with 25 ton bollard pull.  This vessel also has excellent fire fighting capabilities.
   
• M/T “Nomad” is a 24m Multi-Purpose Tug with 10 ton bollard pull.  The vessel is ideal also for oil spill recovery and fire fighting.
