On 27/11/2009, Sinbad Marine Services placed an order to build another new catamaran with Killybegs based boatbuilders Mooney Boats.  The new vessel will be the third catamaran to be built by Mooneys for Sinbad Marine Services within a two year period.  The new vessel which will be a hybrid design of the company's previous catamarans will take the best of both designs of M/V "Coastal Cat" and M/V "Ocean Cat".  The catamaran will have an OAL of 12m and very shallow draft of 1.2m which will make it ideally suited for coastal or inshore survey work and crew changes.  The vessel which will be called "SMS Coatal Cat"  is due to be delivered on 01st May 2010.
