Sinbad Marine Services is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a contract to provide onshorebase support to Shell E & P Ireland.  Sinbad Marine Services who operate Killybegs Supply Base have been providing shore base services to the oil and gas industry since 1999 and have been working with Shell E & P Ireland since 2003.  The contract, which could last for up to five years,  is a great boost to Sinbad Marine Services, its many dedicated subcontractors and suppliers and the port as a whole and will secure much needed employment in the area in the years ahead.   Work on the contract is due to commence in the coming weeks.  Sinbad Marine Services has won similar contracts with other oil and gas companies operating off the west coast of Ireland in recent years including Statoil, Eni, AGR (on behalf of Serica) and Lundin.  Julie Parkinson, Director of the company added “We are delighted to learn that all the hard work and commitment to providing the highest quality of service and a safe working environment for all has paid off.  We are looking forward to continuing to work with Shell in the years ahead. We hope to build on our success in recent years and continue to grow and expand in the offshore support sector”.
